Jio Platforms files its Draft Red Herring Prospectus with SEBI

Jio Platforms Limited filed its Draft Red Herring Prospectus with SEBI on 19 June 2026, proposing an IPO made up entirely of new shares. The filing was the first formal step towards a public listing of Reliance's digital services business.

What changed

  • Jio Platforms' detailed business, financial and risk disclosures became public for the first time in an offer document.

What is confirmed

“Confirmed” here means attributed to an official filing by the sources below. Our status labels on the IPO page show which items our editors have checked in the primary document.

  • Fresh issue of up to 27 crore equity shares (face value ₹10), about 2.9% of the post-issue equity base as reported.
  • Up to ₹27,500 crore of proceeds earmarked to repay or prepay borrowings of Reliance Jio Infocomm.
  • FY26 consolidated revenue from operations of ₹1,46,885 crore, as reported from the DRHP.

What remains unconfirmed

  • Price band, dates and lot size — these were only fixed later, in the October RHP.

What it may mean for investors

  • A DRHP is a draft. Terms can change before the RHP, which is why we label figures by their source document.
